We created a richly textured, layered space combining yesteryear's nostalgic farmhouse and today's sense of luxury. An iron bed, which is an old familiar farmhouse shape, mixes with contemporary layered bedding. Worn kilim rugs and pillows, vintage caramel leather, velvet drapes, antique brass finishes, time-worn artifacts, and old stained wood floorboards help create a comforting bohemian cocoon.
This is what the room looked like the first time I saw it.
This room was designed to make you feel coccooned and cozy with a desire to sink into the wonderful textures and stay for a while. The art was the inspiration for the design.

The striking art and artifacts were provided by Holicong Home
Yves Delorme Buckingham generously provided the sheets, duvets and lofty down insert that I just wanted to dive into.
The caramel leather butterfly chair added more natural texture and color to the space plus a sense of fun.
The barn door to the bathroom was a big hit!
Iron, wood, velvet, rattan, and leather mix with faded kilim rugs and striking art in a space where old and new melt together beautifully.
